MySpace partnered with RipCode ( An innovator of Internet/mobile video infrastructure solutions) to give mobile users access to MySpace videos, the users will now be able to view videos they’ve uploaded or marked as favorite. The content will be available at MySpace’s mobile site, m.myspace.com that has vast online video library which include majority of premium contents.
The myspace mobile site currently generates around three billion monthly page views from 10 million users. Leveraging RipCode’s unique On-Demand Video Transcoding technology the Video will work on the iPhone, BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Storm devices, T-Mobile G1, and few more phone. This is the way myspace will extend video to a large number of MySpace mobile community providing the users compelling and dynamic mobile environment.
